Polyalkylene Glycol (PAG) Viscosity 46
HCPRO PAG 46 – Precision Performance for All Applications!
Experience unparalleled versatility with HCPRO PAG 46. This high-quality polyalkylene glycol (PAG) lubricant is designed for optimal performance across a wide range of applications, from industrial machinery to automotive systems. Its superior thermal stability and oxidation resistance ensure consistent and reliable operation even under extreme conditions. HCPRO PAG 46 provides excellent lubricity and reduces wear, making it the perfect choice for enhancing the efficiency and longevity of your equipment.
Key Features:
- Versatile Application: Ideal for both industrial and automotive systems.
- Thermal Stability: Maintains performance in high temperatures.
- Oxidation Resistance: Prolongs lubricant and equipment life.
- Lubricity: Reduces friction and wear on components.
- Consistent Performance: Reliable operation in demanding conditions.
Advantages of PAG Lubricants:
- HIGH VISCOSITY INDEX: Lower viscosity grades than mineral oil-based lubricants can be used for improved efficiency. PAG-based lubricants also don not require viscosity index improvers as mineral oil-based lubricants may.
- LOW VOLATILITY/HIGH FLASH POINT: PAG lubricants have higher flash points and lower volatility than mineral oil-based lubricants. Properly stabilized with antioxidants, flash and fire points of PAG lubricants increase significantly.
- DESIGNED SOLUBILITY: Can be designed to be water-soluble, oil-soluble, or intermediate.
- MINIMAL DEPOSIT FORMATION: Degradation products of PAGs are soluble in PAG lubricant.
- ENVIRONMENTAL ACCEPTABILITY: Many viscosity grades do not harm the environment, have low aquatic toxicity, and are non-bio accumulative.
- HYDROLYTIC STABILITY: PAG lubricants do not break down in the presence of water.
- FIRE-RESISTANT: Combination of lower carbon content than mineral oil, PAOs, or esters; and high flash and fire points.
- WATER TOLERANT: PAG-based lubricants can accommodate higher water content than mineral oil-based lubricants without corrosion.
- THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY: PAG-based lubricants provide better cooling than mineral oil-based lubricants, lowering sump temperatures, and extending equipment and fluid life in some applications.
- LOW FRICTION COEFFICIENTS: Minimal friction generation to minimize wear.
